Sherry’s-Ooh Lala Talent Search!

Hey, my name is Sherry and I’m from a village called Kasigluk. I wanted to come to Talent Search to learn more about college and meet new people. The best part of Talent Search so far was that we went kayaking the first night we came here, learning how to be independent and playing pool. I like to have fun times with my friends, play volleyball and other sports. I want life to be fun and enjoyable. My favorite subjects in school are Math and P.E. I like other classes, but I like those two the best. My family is just like an ordinary family. I have my mom, dad and my three brothers. Like I said, I live in Kasigluk, but I might move to Tununak this year because my dad has a job there as a V.P.O (Village Police Officer). My goals are to finish high school (in three more years, including this year) and college (in four years). I want to become a math teacher because I enjoy math a lot. In the future I want to have a family after I have everything accomplished. I hope I’ll have a lot more fun for the rest of the week. From the friends I make and the things I learned, I’ll probably remember this week for the rest of my life.
