(A little bit about Roseanne)

Hello. My name is Roseanne and I am a 17 years old attending Nelson Island High School in Toksook Bay. I was raised by my young parents Brenda and Robert. My parents have five children, of which I was the first born. I have three brothers and two annoying sisters (not to be mean). I lived most of my life in Toksook Bay. When I was a kid, before my sisters were born, we used to live in Bethel for four years and in Akiachak for two years. A couple of years later after my sixth birthday, we moved to Toksook Bay, when I was just in kindergarten. On my 15th year of living life, I, myself out of all my family, moved in Bethel for one whole year with my mom’s sister Peggy and her husband. After one long year passed, I moved back to Toksook Bay.
I wanted to come to Talent Search because I love to travel any where and any place to camp and learn new things I never ever learned before in my whole entire life. Ever since I was 12 years old I traveled to different places mostly in the summer for the things I applied for. Because I never participated in Talent Search, I decided to make a claim for college camp before the school was over.
The best part of Talent Search so far is taking a trip to different places for us to learn new things we never learned before. I’m actually really talking about flight school and bank thing. The most excellent I like about the Talent Search is the students that are here with me. THEY ROCK!
In Toksook Bay I love to go walking and cruising all-around riding with my brother’s snow machine and my four-wheeler with my best friend Laura and Allison. Every year in August I commonly love to go camping with my family to collect 5 or more buckets full of salmon berries, blue berries, black berries, and red berries for our own traditional food during the winter months. Because I’m still a young lady, I love to play a little outside sometimes with my little brothers and sisters just to have some fun and make the time fly by faster. We also build up memories while were still living life.
My brothers and sisters are all younger then my age. Moses, my mom’s first son acts like he’s the oldest child in the family. He claims every thing that’s in our house except for girlie substances. My brother Junior, who is named after my dad, eats every thing that’s set on my parents table. The fourth girl Cecelia loves to clean up and complete things on her own. My youngest brother Mark is very naughty and mischievous. I don’t know what to say about him. And last but not least, my youngest sister Sammie is 6 years young. She’s very spoiled. She has to get a hold of everything she wants to or else she’ll scream all day and all night.
My goal is to graduate from high school. I want to achieve my goals because I want to attend college in KUC. And after I’m finished with college I want to become a pilot in Bethel. My dream ever since I was just a kid is flying around the world and seeing things I have never seen before.
