Brent made such a good showing and impression during his CIOS 282 work experience class that he has been hired as a full-time technician with the Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD). The head of technology at the LKSD and Brent’s supervisor commented in his last evaluation “If they are all like Brent, LKSD will always be interested”. Brent has represented the KuC very well in the Bethel IT community…congrats and good luck!

Best of luck for the summer to three of our KuC ANSEP retention students; Jessica, Derek and Alex.
All three of our students have summer Biology internships and will be working their first paid field season with Science agencies in the YK Delta. Jessica and Derek are off to work with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Alex leaves tomorrow to participate in an Ocean research project on the Gulf of Alaska and planning to be back to the Kuskokwim as a fisheries intern for the summer. We hope you all make lots of money and have a wonderful experience….be safe, learn lots, have fun.
