Dr. Rick Knecht - Academic Lead, Nunivak Summer Science
Dr. Rick Knecht, Associate Professor College of Rural and Community Development, will serve as academic lead for the 2006 Nunivak Island Summer Science program. Rick comes to KuC via the department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development. He will be teaching the Biology 104 class, Natural History of Alaska, and with a worldclass expertise in Anthropology and Archeaology the students should get a good taste of cultural anthropology from their experiences with Rick this summer.
