Creating Elluminate Live! recordings:
- Elive sessions can be recorded (by clicking on the red circle on the bottom left hand corner of the ELive window at the beginning of a session) and can be played back (by clicking on a URL)
- Moderator controls recording
- Recordings captures all the activities in the main room, but not in the break out rooms
- During Playback, one can navigate easily to any point in the recording. Recordings are interactive as well, since one has the ability to save/print presentations and recordings include Web Tours and File Transfers.
- In order to create two seperate consecutive recordings, you can create the recordings in two separate rooms or you can use the same room but after you create the first recording you need to stop the recording and everyone needs to exit the room for 15 minutes. This allows the room to shut down and will give you a separate recording link next time you log in. You can then log back in to create your second recording.
Reasons for Recordings classes:
- Participants can review a class for improved understanding
- Participants can review a class in case they missed it for a reason
- To keep a library of recorded learning objects
