Personalize Your Connection

Personalize Your Connection

To connect to online University services, you will first need to set up your account(s).

  1. Look up (and write down) your UA username and UA ID number at: https://uaonline.alaska.edu/banprod/owa/bwgk2gid.P_DisplayID_Request

  2. UAF still uses separate systems for course delivery, email, etc.

UAF students can jump ahead to STEP 3: Attend Classes to set up their separate passwords and accounts (recommended for UAF students) You can always return here to set up a MyUA Portal account at any time.

  1. UAS and UAA offer students the convenience of single sign-on entry into their classes and accounts through the MyUA Portal. UAS and UAA students should continue on this page to set-up their MyUA Portal accounts. Optional for UAF students.

To further Personalize your connection to the University of Alaska, you can use the MyUA Portal to gain access to your online classes, a University email account, your own University Web page, and many other services.

NOTE: After you have set up your MyUA Portal site, your NEXT STEP will be to come back to these instructions and go on to STEP 3: Attend Classes

Never Logged in to MyUA Portal Before?

If you’ve never logged into the MyUA Portal before, then:

You will need to establish a password for your AUTHSERV account (for new students, this is created when you registered for a class). UA campuses may differ on the way in which your AUTHSERV account becomes activated. If you received an email from the AUTHSERV administrator, follow those directions.

Otherwise, you can go to the first time MyUA Portal log in sites.

If you are unable to log in, contact UA Help and ask to have your UA Username and AUTHSERV account activated so you can get into the MyUA Portal.

First time MyUA login sites:
